The day begins with the Shiitake 5K. Throughout the day, events such as the Auto Showcase, Texas Wine and Craft Beer tastings, live music, Kids Zone, Photo Contest, Art Contest, Silent Auction along with lots and lots of vendors highlight the Festival from 10 am until 5 pm in Downtown Madisonville. A silent auction will be held in the beautifully refurbished Woodbine Inn and Restaurant.

Absolutely not. We are a rain or shine festival!

There is no designated parking area. It is in the downtown area you can park in open parking lots or on the streets. It is up to private businesses if they want to charge for parking.

Certainly. We ask that you contact us at info@txmushfest.org to coordinate your shuttle parking.

Absolutely, there are benches through out the downtown area. If you purchase a ticket to the Taste of Texas there will be seating available inside the tent.

We would love to see your fur baby. Please make sure they stay on a leash and attend the entire time. Don’t forget to clean up after them.

PS. You can even get the dogs blessed at the festival!! Pet blessings happen on North Madison St.

We have no regulations or bag restrictions.

Yes, the entire festival is card friendly. There may be a few vendors that don’t accept cards, as we can not make them, so don’t forget to bring a little cash.

No, however Prosperity Bank and Wells Fargo both have an ATM located just off the square for you to use at your convenience. The Bank of Madisonville and Normangee State Bank are just a short 2 minute drive from the downtown area.

There is only an entry fee to the Taste of Texas Tent (Beer and Wine tasting).

You do not. We sell wristbands the day of at the gate only. Wristbands are sold from 10am-4:45pm. The tent closes at 5pm.

We do not allow any alcohol outside of any business that sells alcohol or outside of the Taste of Texas Tent.
